How we contribute to Europe's competitiveness
The EU reports that Europe's natural environment is not doing well. The European Environment Agency publishes a report on the European environment every five years. The recent report emphasizes that climate change and environmental degradation pose a direct threat to Europe's competitiveness. Our Europe is dependent on natural resources. We must therefore protect these resources better! This protection increases the resilience of essential societal functions that depend on nature, such as food security, drinking water supply, and flood defenses.
The Green Core contributes to protecting your resources. The Green Core does this by returning unused agricultural land to nature so the earth can recover. By introducing a wide variety of new (though indigenous!) trees and shrubs, resources recover faster and promote biodiversity, soil quality and climate resilience.
In Short:
Europe’s Environment 2025-report shows WHY change is needed.
The Green Core shows HOW that change can be put into practice.
